Sculpture Cymru joined with the Strata Florida Project to start a dialogue of ideas and exploration of possibilities to engage with the environment, in its widest sense, of the Cistercian lands of Strata Florida Abbey in mid Wales.
Nine members of Sculpture Cymru took part in an Open Day on site making work in response to the history, culture, society and environment of Strata Florida. Work included displays and discussion of work, temporary installations, performances and pieces of sculpture permanently installed.
