Heather Burnley

Heather has been sculpting for the last 30 years. Her work is figurative and she is particularly interested in the human form and portraiture.

She models from life, mainly in clay, and then the finished piece of work is either hollowed out and fired in a kiln or it is cast in either resin or bronze.

Heather studied at Bath Academy of Art and later at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Florence and, subsequently, she specialised in sculpture at Park Walk, Chelsea. She is a member of the Society of Women Artists and the Chelsea Art Society and Sculpture Cymru.

She lives and works in North Wales and is happy to undertake commissions.
