Glenn Morris BA(Hons) PGCE FRGS
I work predominantly in stone using traditional carving techniques. Many years spent in the Arctic and my involvement in environmental
work has tended to shape my thinking. My work seeks to explore the relationships between beauty and the passing of time together with the darker sides of humanity. Images may appear abstract but are often based on real-life encounters.
I have a first class degree in sculpture and have had work
exhibited in public areas and also at the Royal Academy. I am a
qualified teacher and spent a number of years teaching pottery. Much of my current work is sold through galleries or is commissioned.
I welcome enquiries or visits (by appointment) to my studio near Hay on Wye.
