NAME: Alun Hemming PROFILE: Born: 1954,
Blaengarw, South Wales Based in Cardiff for 20 years, the first part of my career was in London, in particular the Wapping studios in London’s East End, where as a young artist I learned a great many of the skills that still support my work now. I am a founder and active member of Old Library Artists Ltd. an
artists co-operative based in the Oriel Canfas Gallery and Studios,
Cardiff. The gallery provides one of the main outlets for my artwork
as well as an education space where I run courses and workshops.
